FBI asks to make new secret filing in Clinton email case
The Hill ^

Posted on 06/07/2016 8:20:34 AM PDT by detective

The FBI has asked a federal judge for permission to file a second secret declaration detailing its probe into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

In the request, which came as part of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, the Justice Department offered for the FBI to provide “additional details” about how it “conducted a reasonable search for records” as part of the open records case and “determined that there were no records responsive.”

NOPE, throw it ALL out there for everybody to see.

Time for the right to to define the narrative for a change.

Keep backing the FBI to expose ALL of the skeletons in the Clinton clan's closets.

Throw in all of their fellow travelers, cronies, and communist/socialist/leftist synchophants and media propaganda shills too.

Let them all rot in prison together.

The FBI is protecting its investigation. They’ve kept the racketeering investigation mostly out of view using the cover of the email investigation.

The FOIA has the potential to expose the details of the racketeering investigation and forewarn the Clintons so they can take precautions.

I am not disagreeing, but don’t you think the criminals in chief already tried to cover those tracks? I know they are evil, but not stupid.

“These details supplement defendant’s showing that it conducted a reasonable search, but cannot be disclosed on the public record without compromising information that the FBI seeks to protect,” the department said in a filing late on Monday evening.

Sounds more like the FBI wants to aid Shrillary in closing the FOIA case, instead of making a criminal case against her.

“Obama will pardon Hillary and Hillary will try her best to get him that job on the Supreme Court”

An interesting point which I have considered for a minute now. However, I think that in order to be pardoned Hillary would first have to be tried and convicted. In other words I don’t believe a preemptive pardon is possible.

As an addendum to the spectre of such possibilities, it also occurred to me that one of Hillary’s running mate prerequisites may be an agreement in advance to pardon her if the need should arise. It may sound crazy but I wouldn’t put anything past her. Just look at her body of work.

Ford pardoned Nixon preemptively.

They are stupid. The FBI knew Hillary had a private email server at least three years ago when they interviewed Guccifer in Romania.

The Clintons never expected the FBI to get their holy of hollies. When Hillary joked about the server being wiped, it was already too late. Pagliano wasn’t a match for FBI forensics not to mention Guccifer’s penetration.

“In other words I don’t believe a preemptive pardon is possible.”

A President’s power to pardon is essentially unlimited. Ford pardoned Nixon preemptively.

I don’t believe a preemptive pardon is possible.

Clinton and Holder pardoned his major fund raiser who was at the time a federal fugitive hiding in another country after the fugitive's wife made a major contribution to the Clinton library.

So he could pardon her now if he wants in exchange for a Clinton foundation contribution to the Obama library and no one could do anything about it.

“Ford pardoned Nixon pre-emptively”

But wasn’t that pardon for specific crimes that Ford knew he was about to be charged with? We knew what the charges were against Nixon.

Can Obama issue - would he want to issue - a blanket pardon for all crimes known or unknown?

The pardon will have to be all encompassing. Otherwise Clinton can still be brought to justice by a Republican administration.

Would it include Civil suits brought by families? Nixon never demonstratively had anyone killed or caused their death

Unfortunately for Roger Clinton, a Presidential pardon doesn't extend to future crimes.

Only up until the time of the pardon - the Clinton Foundation would have to shut its doors immediately since it is basically an ongoing RICO operation.

No pardon for future crimes.

Nixon was pardoned, but a fair number of his henchman were not. Shrillary might waltz, but her partners in crime may not (unless Obama pardons them all in which case he would face a revolt of epic proportions from the FBI).

An Obama pardon would be confirmation that she is guilty as sin.

The foundation is the Clinton’s ongoing liability. That would have to be shuttered as you say.
