I don’t recall ever reading about the Supreme Court exonerating him, but they did. Learned something new today.

The final decision was a unanimous ruling, 8-0, in favor of Ali, a stunning turnaround from a potential 5-3 loss.
After the court announced its decision, reporters asked Ali if he intended to recover damages from his three-year exile from boxing.
“No. They only did what they thought was right at the time. I did what I thought was right. That was all. I can’t condemn them for doing what they think was right,” he said.

Ali was truly magnanimous in his personal victory. He was found to be a true conscientious objector (as opposed to all the cowards who burned their draft cards and ran to Canada to await the pardon from the next Democrat in power).

He stood on principle and was eventually exonerated and did not hold any grudges against those who prosecuted him.

I guess you could say Ali was a MINO.
