Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) on Friday said Donald Trump’s temporary ban on Muslim travel into the U.S. would not survive Constitutional scrutiny.
“If I had to pick a particular position that would concern me the most, it would be the ban on Muslims,” Cole, a lawmaker close to GOP leadership, said Friday on MSNBC. "I think it’s clearly, you know, unconstitutional, it’s ill-advised, it would really hurt the U.S.
“We need a lot of Muslim friends to deal with what we’re dealing with overseas, and we have some great Muslim friends. And we ought to recognize that and be sensitive.”

The US government has full authority to regulate immigration by statute. They can set any restrictions they like. Who hasn’t heard of the process at Ellis Island where immigrants were given health tests and some were rejected and sent back? President Jimmy Carter banned all Iranians during the hostage crisis. Do you believe Japanese and German citizens were allowed into the country during WWII without a waiver?

I thought we invaded Iraq and caused a mess of epic proportions in the Middle East so we wouldn’t “have to fight them here”.

There is no constitution superior to Sharia. Ask them.
As a result, they cannot plead allegiance to the American constitution, uphold it’s values nor live within its purpose and intent.
Thusly, they cannot be American citizens and cannot be protected by the constitution.
