I’m thinkin’ IRS being used against right-wing orgs to silence them in the last election(s) — NOT interested in “our side” stooping to anything like that.
On the OTHER hand, though, the PGA certainly ought to expect that they will be treated as an offshore entity; I mean — if they’re IN Mexico, they need to BE a Mexican Corporation complete with ALL of the concomitant fiscal penalties, Mexican political issues, expectations of “protection money” to the cartels and other local greasy palms...you know: the works.
