Honestly, I’m actually surprised that no terrorists have hit a TSA wait line. Either outer perimeter security is a LOT better than we all suspect. . . or splodeydopes are heavier on the “dopes” than I thought. . .

What should we do about the TSA?

For starters, airports should invoke the opt out option and hire private security screeners.

Another option is to use small regional airports, even if it means poorer connection times and a four hour longer drive to your final destination. We've done this. It is worth the extra time required for the saving on fare, parking and waiting in the TSA line.

Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, for example, tends to hire locals who don't have huge attitudes.
