If New York and California are seen as in play, the Dems will have to put resources there to keep them.

Not contesting those states allows them to use there resources in other states.

Trump is very popular in New York; I am not so certain about Hillary.

Remember, Hillary is/was a carpetbagger. Us upstaters are giving her a run for her money.

I wish Guliani was running for governor at the same time.

Trump has many friends in the “industry”

Two early groups who wanted to form PACs were involved with movies. One was the technical /camera/crews. The second was writers Producers etc.
Trump has friends in Hollywood.

Yes, that is a terrific point. If Cal and NY are in play then the dems will have to spend money to win them. That is a great position for Trump to be in.
