Ex-State aide recalls Hillary’s ‘sloppy communications’ with staff

A former military adviser who worked for Hillary Clinton at the State Department says her “sloppy communications with her senior staff” could have undermined two counterterrorism operations.

Bill Johnson, the department’s adviser to the special operations section of the US Pacific Command in 2010 and 2011, told Newsweek that secret plans to kill the head of a Filipino jihadi group and stop Chinese armaments being smuggled into Iraq both failed.

“I had several missions that went inexplicably wrong, with the targets one step ahead of us,” said Johnson, who worked in Air Force special ops for more than 25 years before joining the State Department in 1999.

He said investigations narrowed down the source of potential leaks to Clinton’s and her aides’ use of unprotected phones — although he admitted he had no solid proof.

In the Philippines, his team targeted Umbra Jumdail, founder of the Abu Sayyaf jihadist group.

“We had good intel. We knew where he was,” Johnson said. “He would be gone three hours before, sometimes as little as a half-hour before. We knew he was getting tipped off somehow.”

Beijing and Moscow?

Sounds like muslims in the jungles of the Philippines could hack her server.

I set up a server in my basement so that clients could access their photos. I know a little about servers. I set up pretty basic protection.

I was hacked in a week.

The list of IP addresses and their locations was fascinating.

Why was it fascinating?

I could see hits from all over the world. China, Romania, Russia, Brazil. And none of my clients (College athletic departments in New England) were in any of those countries.

I could watch the traffic from college dorms when I would post images from a game. It would start slow, and you could see when one kids told the teammates their pictures were up...and it would blow for an hour or two...and then you could tell when the kids told a parent and word got around that group.

I wasn’t keeping anything sensitive on the server so I wasn’t too concerned until it was corrupted. The server did not house emails, just low res images. It was never connected to my business computer.

I learned a lot about how the internet works.

Remember over Afghanistan when 16+ Navy Seals were shot down on a secret mission in a helocopter? Biggest Navy Seal death count in a very long time.

No one knew how the enemy knew the helicopter was packed with the best and brightest. The families have sued to find out who leaked. Whatever happened to that investigation, Hillarys email or blackberry?

And Melania is forty years younger, not a good comparison at all. I have wrinkles due to my age, yet I am able to keep my house clean inspite of a 40 hour work week, no servants and two dogs.
