For some strange reason, I was looking up Ed McMahon on Wikipedia this morning. I knew that when Ed had his financial worries and was going to lose his house, someone stepped forward with an offer to buy the house and let Ed stay in it. Turns out that ‘someone’ was Trump.
I’m not a big Trump supporter (but I will vote for him), but I am impressed by how many times he has gone to the aid of people who don’t know him and can’t help him; he does it because it’s the right thing to do and he has the wherewithal to do it. I’m thinking of how he helped Sgt. Tahmooressi, for example.
Darn it - I meant to also say that I never hear about any charitable activities from the Clintons.
