The president of DePaul University likens campus race activists who shut down a conservative event to troops who stormed the beaches of Normandy during World War II.
A letter issued by Rev. Dennis Holtschneider said the students were wrong

Thanks for the info.
He looks like an alter-boy molester to me.
You got that right. One of my Dad's professors at Gettysburg College told his class that "all combat soldiers are basically sociopaths," (then wondered why my father and two other guys on the GI Bill got up and left the room.)
That was in 1947.
Like all the rest of academia, he's completely unaware of the fact that he gets to live in his delusional echo chamber because people he secretly despises stand between his cushy little playpen and complete annihilation.
He’s an idiot....
To compare those pukes to the heros of D-Day is risible.
Shirley this a spoof! No University president should be placed in such an office and be so fence post stupid and ignorant of History. I would guarantee the fool is a democrat though ....
Only if we get to shoot them, hit them with heavy artillery, and bomb them from the air. If they want that, let’s go.
There was a special song that was frequently played on Sesame Street that Holtschneider somehow missed out on:
One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others.
By the time I finish my song?
Then again, it's not uncommon for many of today's foolish university presidents and pathetically weak-kneed administrators to collapse in a fit of uncontrollable spasms if confronted by anything more intellectually challenging than an "are you smarter than a fifth-grader" test.
Look for Holtschneider to knock his little sippy cup off of his high-chair when he sees the torrent of criticism coming his way in response to this latest bit of idiocy...
Those Black Lives Matter thugs aren’t fit to lick the boots of the Allied troops at Normandy.
Actually they aren’t even fit to lick the boots of the German defenders.
Unbelievable the lack of perspective this joker demonstrates by positively comparing a group of uncivilized disruptors with young men storming the beach to defend civilization.
No, they are not even equivalent to the Brownshirts or any real NAZI believer.
I doubt very much that any of them are willing to die for their cause.
They are just THUGS that found a new gig to perform.
Get enough of them together in an area where they can get away with it and they will do the same thing .
Do not ever underestimate how much the radical left hates
Why any parent would spend a dime of their hard earned money sending their kid to one of these indoctrination centers is beyond me.
At least this will let Robert McDonald come up for air.
If your looking for the kooks that were allowed to self medicate and roam free because the liberals felt they were being housed against thier will for being insane, you found them!
No one is shooting at the BLM just yet.
This guy is not fit to be president of anything!
I am so angry at this man that I had to send him an email. What is this person thinking?
I’m thinking I’m going to send this email below and then maybe call his office and play the National Anthem into his answering machine!

Dear President Holtschneider,
I was shocked to read your comments in response to the attack of an invited speaker at your school.
Comparing disruptive thugs to the brave young men who fought for our country is an insult to all of us Americans who lost relatives in Europe during World War II. For you to make that comparison days before our celebration of Memorial Day is yet another insult to those of us who love our country.
On what dimension do you see any parallel between self-less young men fighting for our freedom and your selfish students who don’t believe in free speech and the rule of law? I see no commonality.
Pandering to lawless students will invite more lawlessness. On this Memorial Day weekend I sincerely hope you re-think your message.
And by the way, what is *your* school doing this weekend to honor those who gave their lives for this country, for you and for me?
Sincerely,
