The family of Abedel Fattah al-Sharif, the Arab terrorist who was neutralized and later killed by IDF soldier Elor Azariya during a terror attack in Hevron in March, buried al-Sharif in Hevron on Saturday, amid demands for revenge.
The body of al-Sharif was returned to his family on Friday, before it was examined at the Al Ahli hospital in Hevron.
Relatives of the dead terrorist called upon Arab residents of Hevron to join in a mass demonstration during al-Sharifs funeral, which included demands for revenge and the waving of Hamas flags. The body of al-Sharif was also wrapped in a Hamas flag.
Relatives of the soldier now standing trial for killing protested the return of the terrorists body and the subsequent funeral.
Its outrageous, disturbing, and sad to see the terrorist who came to kill our soldiers receive a mass funeral with calls for revenge against Israel and threats against our son, Elor, while he [the terrorist] is wrapped in a Hamas flag and paraded about like a hero, while Elor is still in jail and accused of manslaughter.

What a waste of food. Couldn’t they have just made a burrito?
Bloody savages! Kill the muzzie bastards. Them or us.
"Willie Pete" is a terrible, terrible weapon to use specifically against people.
Dropping it from a helo is not wise - remember that at every Palestinian funeral it is obligatory for half the mourners to fire off several magazines with their AK-47s.
OK. You talked me out of it. No white phosphorus from the helicopter.
Whew!
You had me worried for a minute, there!
:-)
I have a confession to make. I don’t really own a helicopter, or any white phosphorus. Sob.
FYI I used to call in WP as marker rounds or to set up a smoke screen. No problems with that.
But, I had a buddy who was carrying a WP grenade clipped to his belt-suspender straps. An NVA round hit the WP grenade, setting it off. Just glad I didn’t have to see it. Thankfully, I believe he died quickly.
I worked on bombing ranges for years. Willie Pete was the only UXO I really feared setting off. Nasty don’t come close to describing it.
A revenge rally in Hebron at a funeral for a terrorist just brings out the war criminal in me.
