They have robo self driving cars. Anyone care to fly in a robo-plane? “Attention passengers, I am a robot flying today. All ya’alls just sit back and ..... >PANIC!<”

Maybe someday there will be a robot that can bang its head against the wall for me.

Tina is going to have a very hard life, and will probably be unemployable outside of journalism.

Americans have been working alongside robots of one degree of complexity or another since the first assembly line was built.

Sad commentary on education.

It occurred to me today that Trump’s timing on trade issues is perfect, in a way that I haven’t seen described before. As robots become more common, cheap labor loses its advantage. Hence, with the proper incentives, it will be easy for manufacturing to return to this country, diverting the flow of money back here.

I don’t see anything wrong with it.

I am sure robots can do many tasks quite well.

You just have to know what you can program and assign a robot to do, vs, humans, where you also need to know which human you can trust with what tasks.

Those who are in the market should have a look at open source design projects for automation (http://opensourceecology.org , etc.).
