Read that again - it says he didn’t.
The article said that no environazi expected him to pivot to the left. And he didn’t.

The author is a supporter of climate change fraud. He said no one expected Donald Trump to pivot to the left given Trump's record. But even he was shocked at how Trump criticized the Climate Change ideology and Obama’s actions on climate change.
The speech was not a pivot to the left. It was the exact opposite.
