(CNSNews.com) -- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says HIV infection rates are high among transgender women in the United States, and particularly high among black transgender women, compared to other groups.
On its website page “HIV Among Transgender People,” the CDC cites a systematic review of various studies which showed that 28% of all transgender women had HIV. (A transgender woman is a biological male who identifies as a female.)
Also, “56% of black/African American transgender women had positive HIV test results compared to 17% of white or 16% of Hispanic/Latina transgender women,” said the CDC. Black transgender women "are more likely to have HIV than transgender women of other races/ethnicities," said the health agency.

Seems like over half are sick with a deadly disease. And apparently, many have HIV/AIDS as well.
Is that still a long-lasting (slow advance) very, very expensive disease that never ends? I have not been tracking the attempts to find a cure 0- other than seeing the billions spent on it.

Transgendered woman. That term confuses me. Is that a woman who thinks she is a man or os it a man who thinks he’s a woman?

Not surprising. “Transgender women” = homosexual men.
They wouldn't if they could get away with it. But they face a serious dilemma: either conceal the truth and be held liable for the horrific reality that will logically ensue, or be up front and appear "homophobic" by stating the truth.
Of course, they temper the truth with a "healthy" dose of political correctness. They blame "homophobia" and "discrimination" as major factors in the spread of AIDS. Oh, and also "the South."
