Students from the Arabic Club at the public high school in the city of Medford, about a 15-minute drive north of downtown Boston, wanted to participate in World Hijab Day early this semester.
The annual event was created in 2013 to promote awareness and understanding of Muslim women who wear the headscarf as an expression of their faith. At Medford High, the plan was pretty straightforward ...
The date was set for February 1.
But soon after Hijab Day was announced, the Medford public got wind of it. And there was a wave of phone messages, emails and social media posts directed at school and city officials ...

Yes, let’s talk about subjugation of women under Islam, rape, and murder that comes it.
Babushka Day for all da Eastern Europeans! Hayna?
It was founded to get women used to the crappy hajib followed by the filthy, disgusting, unsanitary, unhealthy burka. F You, Muslims!
They don’t even tightly stitch the labia - they loosely stitch it so that women can have urine dribbling down their legs for hours after they take a leak.
Ain’t diversity marvelous?
I’d wear one - like a diaper.
I’m surprised the Boston school system hasn’t had Pressure Cooker Day!
But one thing thats come out of the community dialogue already is a plan at City Hall to host an Iftar dinner one evening in June during the upcoming Muslim holy month of Ramadan.....Just. Shiite.
When is genital mutilation day?
Rape a 9 year old day?
Take your slave to school day?

And “How to Beat Your Wife” day?
They stitch it tightly enough to cause miscarriages and stillbirths. Some guy still can rip it enough to get his pNi$ in, but when the girls have babies, many lose them because of the horrible stitches. Also many girls die (blessedly at the time) from infections from the stitching and the blood loss.
I just finished the book “Slave,” where the poor dear describes it all too vividly. She was a slave in Sudan.
Students at the “Arabic Club???”
WTF has an “Arabic Club???”
That is cold...
But a fair question for a school system that would have an Arabic Club!
WTF has an Arabic Club???....The Arabs! It’s what they beat you with prior to cutting of your bleedin’ head!
Ah, sometimes too loose, sometimes too tight. Ain’t diversity fine?
So sad. The real war on women.
Convert or die, day.
They backed down, but expect them to try this again in the future.
Maybe there will be more than World Hijab Day. Think of what else they can do. How about World Manipulate Oil Prices Day? How about World Marry a Grade School Girl Day? They can have World American Flag Burning Day. They can have Honor Killing Day. How about Kill Infidel Civilians Day, complete with fake dynamite and guns? There is so much they can do with a theme like this. Let the multicultural appreciation begin!
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Was this following in the school tradition of “Wear a Cross to School Day “ and “Wear a Yamaka to School Day?
Liberals need a whole lot of cold hard reality shoved in
their faces these days. Their nonsense is out of control.
If the hijab is just an expression of Muslim faith, then shouldn’t the boys wear them, too? Whatever happened to laws against sex discrimination in schools?
