Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump suggested the Democrats are going to slip Vice President Joe Biden in as the Democrat’s nominee if Hillary Clinton isn’t able to run because of her email scandal.
“She had a little bad news today from some reports [that] came down that weren’t so good,” Trump told more than 3,000 of his supporters at his campaign rally Wednesday afternoon at the Anaheim, California at the Convention Center. “Inspector General’s report — not good.”
Trump was referencing an Inspector General (IG) report, which concluded that Clinton “failed to seek legal approval for her use of a private email server and that department staff would not have given its blessing because of the ‘security risks in doing so,'” according to The Washington Post.
The IG found Clinton’s email and record keeping was “not an appropriate method” and that a top Clinton staffer had been warned six years ago of the system’s improper preservation of records.
“I want to run against Hillary,” Trump told the audience. “It could be, we’re going to run against ‘Crazy Bernie.’”
“He’s a crazy man, but that’s okay, we like crazy people,” Trump joked. But after admitting “the system is rigged against Bernie,” Trump suggested that Biden would be the Democrat nominee if Clinton isn’t.
“I hear they’re actually going to slip Joe Biden in” to take Bernie’s place, Trump declared.

My understanding that a federal pardon can be very broad and cover all potential federal criminal offenses. There is almost certainly an official federal form, with lots of words of legal art, used by Presidents.

Hillary could choose Biden at the dims convention as vice president. Then if she steps aside, Joe Biden moves to the top of the ticket.

I totally agree. Plus, the democrat party still has it’s super delegate mechanism in place just in case the old bag decides to not throw the fight and go for broke. Uncle Joe will get the convention nod.

What you’re describing sounds to me like a foolhardy, cocaine-driven fearlessness. And Mrs. Clinton has been alleged to have a cocaine problem of longstanding. Interesting.
