A report by the State Departments inspector general has concluded that Hillary Clinton did not comply with the agencys policies on records, Politico is reporting.
The report was released to lawmakers on Wednesday. It also revealed that Clinton and her top aides chose not to cooperate with the inspector generals review, though current Secretary of State John Kerry and several predecessors were interviewed.
A copy of the report was obtained by POLITICO. While it concludes there are longstanding, systemic weaknesses with State Department records weaknesses that go well beyond the tenure of any one Secretary of State, it specifically criticizes Clinton for her exclusive use of private email, according to Politico.
Therefore, Secretary Clinton should have preserved any Federal records she created and received on her personal account by printing and filing those records with the related files in the Office of the Secretary, the report states. At a minimum, Secretary Clinton should have surrendered all emails dealing with Department business before leaving government service and, because she did not do so, she did not comply with the Departments policies that were implemented in accordance with the Federal Records Act.
She has repeatedly said she asked “State” if she could do it this way and ‘they’ gave her permission.
Who was it that said that? I want a name.
Or... since SHE was head of ‘State’ [The State Department] did she ask HERSELF for permission?
The ONLY thing she learned of value from law school was how to skirt the law.
NO, but Trump's debate prep team has plenty of time to formulate a TRAP for Hillary to walk in to. Take all the info and compose a series of questions to ask her with a counter answer prepared in advance - it will be devastating if done correctly. Do the same around Benghazi - I hope he has the debate team working on this now as a strong debate performance will crush her.
She lied. She didn’t ask for permission. From the article:
“Despite guidelines to the contrary and never seeking approval, Clinton used mobile devices to conduct official business on her personal email account and private server. She never sought approval from senior information officers, who would have refused the request because of security risks, the audit said.”
What the HELL is it going to take to cut this woman down?
I’ll go with the answer of as SOS, she was State. She asked herself and after considering it for all of a nanosecond gave permission.
Seriously, you think she has ever asked for permission for anything in her life? Permission is for subjects, not queens.
...broke the law...CANNOT BE PRESIDENT...broke the law...CANNOT BE PRESIDENT...
May the ghost of Vince Foster and violently deceased others connected to the Clintons get their come comeuppance applied here on the topside of the terra ferma.
“The problem for the ‘rats is that I very much doubt that she will go away peacefully”
Why should she when a vast majority of Rats, don’t give a Rats ass about laws. Even more so when it is one of them that is breaking them.
Probably true, but no one ever though for a second she would go down at the hands of the State Dept. The FBI knew she broke the rules from the get go, their investigation goes into much deeper sinister areas.
Exactamundo! This IG report is MUCH more damning than anyone thought the State Department would come out with. This gives us a sense of what the FBI will come out with, and what the judge in the Judicial Watch lawsuit will rule.
Does anyone really believe that behind the scenes, HRC is laughing off this report?
Vince Foster’s death was a “(Mrs Clinton’s thug) violation of use of lead in a national or public park policy”.
POLICIES?
How many LAWS did she break?
THIS is the new black?

I think the path ahead (viewed by Obama, the upper crust of the Democrats, etc), is to let this simply play out and allow her to burn through her cash reserves....to dramatically lose in November, and finish her off completely as a political player. There’s no court case to brew up over this but her political identity is fairly screwed up. Only after she’s finished off in November....will the nation be Clinton-free.
It does pose the odd question though....what does a fairly big loser (assuming she loses by 15-percent of the vote) do in retirement? The Clinton Foundation will be finished off and have limited funds. Her pension via Senate days and the four years of State Department duty? I’m guessing she might pull in $80k a year. It’s enough for upper-crust to survive but you don’t go off to fancy five-star hotels on a weekly basis. And who would pay some $25,000 speaking fee for a big-time loser with no political clout left?
