Nearly two dozen engineering and physics professors weighed in Tuesday with a federal appeals court being asked to review New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension for ''Deflategate.''
Papers filed with the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said these experts believe the 2nd Circuit's ruling upholding the suspension lacks any scientific proof and the appeals judges should reconsider an April decision that reinstated Brady's suspension.

I've reviewed the Wikipedia article on this scandal, and I'm confident in the commissioner's ruling.
I also find it very telling that it was Peyton Manning and Tom Brady who initially lobbied the NFL to change its rules to allow each team to provide its own balls, instead of the home team. They "argued for the rules change for the express purpose of letting quarterbacks use footballs that suited them."
The article also covers the text messages issue:
The report concludes it was "more probable than not" that the two deliberately released air from Patriots game balls after they were tested by game officials. In several texts between Jastremski and McNally, the two mention and joke about inflation, deflation, needles, and gifts from Tom Brady to McNally. Tom Brady was a constant reference point in these discussions. McNally referred to himself as "the deflator" in a text message to Jastremski as far back as May 2014OK, admitted Pats fan, I think I've heard and read all I need to hear and read about deflate-gate.
I hope Tom Brady enjoys his richly deserved 4-game suspension. I certainly will...
Ok, I must have missed something. Was Manning implicated in this thing?
Bite me
with your smarmy answers
You may learn something
Why did Brady send texts to the guy who deflated the balls asking if he was OK? It’s on the record that this guy worshipped Brady and that Brady never so much as have him the time of day before the investigation began?
Implicated? Why use that word? It’s common knowledge he and Brady were in the forefront for this rule change.
CA....
“The report concludes it was “more probable than not””
More probable than not means nothing. It is just innuendo. They don’t have any evidence. It is just speculation.
I get it. You are still upset about the Snow Plow Incident.
There is no sense continuing.
I'm upset about the entire pantheon of Patriots cheating, including deflate-gate. But I don't base my opinion on this incident, on the "Snow Plow Incident".
"More probable than not" doesn't mean nothing. It's not just innuendo. It's very similar to the same standard of evidence used in civil suits every day; suits which defendants lose.
The standard of proof certainly sufficient to warrant disciplinary action against an employee of the friggin' NFL!
Thus, as the appellate court confirmed, the commissioner was entirely within his rights, and Tom Brady should serve his suspension.
Your stance appears to be consistent with the type of extreme pro-union bias one would expect expected in the Northeast...
I’m sorry man, I’ll stop now...
My question was regarding the deflate gate thing. Was Manning implicated in that scandal?
Having the teams take control of the footballs does not in and of itself lead to criminality.
No problem. You seem like a god guy.
You seem like a god guy.....Dear god: Deliver me. Someplace.
I meant good guy.
Sorry for the typo.
“You seem like a god guy.....Dear god: Deliver me. Someplace.”
LOL.
Sorry for the typo. I meant good guy.
Hell, I knew. It was just appropriate.
