The problem with haiku's is that in English, they are totally worthless—no meter, rhythm, or flow, no beauty or imagery, just jumbled non-sensical words. No, haiku's are much much better in the original Klingon.

Sounds like Reid can read the Tea leaf for a Trump victory...
He doesn’t want the chance of not winning the Senate back...
one or two seats either way will make a huge difference in who runs the Senate...

I found out recently haikus have layers of meaning and subtle subtext behind them, or at least they’re supposed to.
I went to public school; it’s best I keep it simple:
I respectfully
Disagree with your thesis
Youre a poopy face!
Whenever I try to take it to the next level of class and civility, the inevitable still happens:
Leaves fall on calm pond
The oak watches, eternal
Youre a poopy face!

That’s easy enough. Pick a screwed up liberal from the Land of Jerry and be done with it.

He’s smart. A Republican Governor would appoint a Republican Senator. That’s not a threat. It’s good political advice.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that Dingy is trying to dump Bernie Sanders off on Hillary.

IOW, Reid wants the VP nod -- and wouldn't that help Hitlery sew up the Mob support she so desperately needs? Worked in Vegas! Thanks Helicondelta.

You might be very right about this.
Dingy is very connected to the CA powerbase and other than Pelosi, they are NOT dumb.
Trump needs to be prepared for a possible Hillary/Commie ticket.

Since they don’t have to resign the Senate to run for VP (Paul Ryan actually ran for VP and for his House seat in 2012), it doesn’t really matter. It would only matter if they won, and well, that’s not going to happen.
