This may be getting ahead of things but how would Obama be able to sabotage a Trump administration before he leaves office. Keep in mind that I'm just thinking like a leftist here. Obviously, they have no consideration for those that disagree with them or those that stand in the way of their pursuit of absolute power and control.
My goal here is to simply brainstorm with the many great minds at FR to thwart this plan that is obviously a foregone conclusion. I think that the leftovers from the Obama administration are a big threat. Although, I think that this is usually a problem when there's a transfer of power from one party to the other, this transfer doesn't have a precedent.
So, any ideas would be helpful as even with Trump's election, I don't think we're out of the woods by far.
Team Trump is far too savvy and is waaaaaaaay ahead of them.

About the only thing the Left/Democrats could do is incite widespread civil disorder, perhaps civil war. Nothing is beneath them, but Trump no doubt has already anticipated this contingency and has plans for dealing with it.

I agree. As vindictive as this guy has shown to be he wants retaliation for the shitty economy that he inherited. As much as his administration and MSM tries to sell the notion of a good economy most Americans know that the economy never really recovered from the 2008 near meltdown.

Just before the Nov. election Obama will issue some very controversial executive orders aimed to reach a majority of the democratic voting base. Some of those Executive orders will be tempting to the segment of democrats who may be thinking about voting for Trump.
When the election is over and should Trump be elected, Obama will quietly undermine confidence in the US Dollar to make it look like foreign countries are dumping the Dollar in response to Trump being the President Elect. No matter how much corporate likes Trump, we are globally entangled and they will have to adjust with the markets despite the election results.
Obama may also Withdraw Military Personnel allowing conditions to worsen as Trump approaches his inauguration. They will say the escalation of attacks and killing are a reaction to Trump being elected.
Look for the Justice Dept to release statements or file charges that would be a wedge issue between Trump and Hillary. Maybe a reversal of previous findings (new evidence) establishing a cause for reopening cases from the past 7 years. Imagine the outrage if charges were suddenly filed by the DOJ for the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Micheal Brown, Freddie Gray, etc. It’s not impossible to expect the clash and drive this would send rippling through the electoral map. R
There are many current issues that are highly visible and could easily be amplified to stir up public reaction. Healthcare, just to pick an obvious topic important to Obama.
But a DOJ investigation in voting results after the election and before Trump is sworn in, would be powerful. All they would have to do is warn the public that once Trump is sworn in he could halt any investigation and influence the findings to bury evidence of a stolen election. Obama’s final con on his supporters could be to offer them Hope that Trump’s election results could Change

If I were starting from scratch I would write pretty close to what you have predicted here. This plus S0ros will fully fund him as a consultant living inside the beltway criticizing anything Trump does...
Also so when hitlery doesn’t win will all the international mafia types be seeking Bill and Hill out to get their money back...forcefully???
