A STRING QUARTET + 1
DVORAK: PIANO QUINTET IN A, OP. 81, ALLEGROThis cross between a 2/4 polka and Czech ragtime in sonata format is irresistible. Its fun to just kick back and let Tony Dvorak take you on a pleasant journey.
The development section even has a cute little fugue. The recap of the first subject is drastically shortened before going into the second subject. For the coda, he slows it down until you think hes going to end it softly in a dreamy fashion. But then he whirls it around faster and faster to a wild finish.
