Trump's poll numbers have not surged yet like I think they will when the general election is underway.
Trump's negatives are not as set as Clinton's. He will become more popular as low info people figure out he is not the ogre drive-bys claimed. I suspect the big surge will happen after he first debates her.

Clinton was the known quantity while Trump had been heralded as a whacko. As people listen to him, as opposed as what the media says about him, they change their mind. No one is going to change their mind about hillary. Incidentally, the same think happened with Reagan in 1980.

His endorsement by the NRA (earliest ever) and his talk to them yesterday will certainly help some of the "undecided" decide that he's not only safe to endorse/support but the most preferred candidate since Reagan........
