An EgyptAir flight heading from Paris to Cairo has disappeared from radar, the airline tweeted.

Fox reporting a merchant ship reported seeing flames in the sky.

CNN reported that EgyptAir released the following list of nationalities on the plane (list from Airliners.net)
15 French
30 Egyptian
1 British
1 Belgian
2 Iraqis
1 Kuwaiti
1 Saudi
1 Sudanese
1 Chadians
1 Portuguese
1 Algerian
1 Canadian
This link shows the last ADSB position report at 37,000 ft.
Looks like the plane had just crossed from Athens Airspace into Cairo airspace.

Looks to me like it went down in the middle of the Mediterranean between Greece and Egypt.
Side note, where this went down was only about 200 miles or so from Benghazi, straight line.

These people, this flight, was blown up in the air. By whom? ISIS has been after Egypt. Most likely this was ISIS. The JV team can bring down planes. I’m not sure I want to fly anywhere.
Remember the Russian Airbus A320 that may have been blown out of the sky over Egypt’s Sinai desert last October. The Russians say it was a bomb, Egypt said no way. Now this. Hmmmm?

Good catch. Benghazi is a centre of evil, of these ISIS militias, and of arms transfers. A dangerous place, and a risk to everyone near it.
In the past 24 hours that plane started in Eritrea, went to Cairo, then Tunis, then back to Cairo, then to Paris and was on the way back to Cairo. It may have had a bomb placed on it in Eritrea or Tunis (or Cairo).

At this point, FOR SURE a bomb was on board. Too many people reporting seeing a fireball in the sky. So where was the security breach? The three security personnel on board certainly didn’t help any. All of these poor souls are dead. So sad. And the world’s media is so damn careful. Out of political correctness.
At least this British guy with white air is saying on CNN that this points to something cataclysmic.

CNN just said now the airline says a distress call was made from the plane.

They did get a distress call. Does anyone know how far before the explosion the distress call happened? Or if there was info in the call? The times are listed in your post but I’m not sure what time they disappeared from radar.
Fox news reports the pilot made a distress call to Egypt armed forces at 2:26am local. The plane disappeared at about 2:45am local, according to Fox news.
