He wore thick, coke bottle glasses to read. Just as he found the pile of books with time enough at last to read as much as he wanted, he drops his glasses and breaks them.
The Haunted voice of Inger Stevens gives you the chills.
Same here. I was about 10 when that was first broadcast and I still worry about the walls in my bedroom at night.
Concur-
The Obsolete Man was the best.
Is it the full light outside at night that they see through a window or is it just an anomaly?
The Hitchhiker was a good one. The were a number of good ones and it makes it hard to pick just one.
The moon affects everything - - the tides, critters, people. We’re made of mostly water so it makes sense we’d be affected by the same gravitational pull as the oceans. Some poo-poo it but even more know it’s real.
Now why it makes the kittehs go wild and crazy, who knows? But we can tell when there’s a full moon without even looking. LOL! And the new moon is just as bad.
I just tuck myself into the corner where the desk is and stay out of their way. Safer that way. :-)
"Honey what I'll really be doing tonight is... playing... poker... with... the... boys." [slams receiver down] "What's the matter with me?"
OH THAT’S RIGHT!!!! I had totally forgotten. I really DID block it out, because that is something I really identified with!
Thanks for reminding me!
The twist was at the end of the episode his glasses got smashed and he could not see well enough to read anything.
Midnight Sun... because Lois Nettleton.
Thank you!
Yep! Scary!...like all of them!
For some reason I don’t remember that one....but it would be very frustrating. I’m thinking that as I prepare myself for a possible retirement. I’m gonna be ticked off if I don’t have “time enough!” LOL!
Wow. Haven’t thought of her in ages! Or Inger Stephens [indeed of the haunted voice]! Amazing how many big names were connected to this show!
You’re very welcome....and I thank YOU as always!
Saw Jul’s post. This has to be the most frustrating and aggravating situation! I hope it goes away!
I’m with you: “Little Girl Lost” spooked me deeply.
“To Serve Man” was memorable, but only because of the twist.
A little alien arrives at a farm house in an adorable little flying saucer. But the wee silver man is not as cute as he seems. Nor is he an alien? This is one for those who hop on a chair at the sight of a mouse.
Although everyone knows the scariest is the Bewitchin' Pool because it is the last Twilight Zone episode.
I sing the body electric
“To Serve Man” — it turns out it’s an alien COOKBOOK.
