The negative ads don’t really seem to be working this election cycle. Bush ran millions of dollars worth of ads against Rubio, and Rubio did better than Bush. $80 MILLION worth of attack ads against Trump, and he finishes in first place.
Something tells me that Trump has been inoculated by all the attack ads already run, and by all the Trump bashing on TV, radio and the net. But, I do believe, since Hillary hasn’t really gotten any attack ads run against her so far, that they will be far more effective against her than against Trump.
She's has no idea how to deal with Trump. In fairness, she's not alone there as the entire RNC tried and failed to make a dent in him. It's been said that nothing is so powerful as an idea whose time has come. The same can be said for the right man. Trump is increasingly demonstrating that he is the right man for this time, and people have already made their decision.
In the primaries Trump supposedly had more than $100 million in negative media against him in Florida alone.
It didn’t work. And the general election audience already saw all that stuff, and Trump is even with Hillary in Florida.
I think this is the part of the campaign where Democrat consultants waste hundreds of millions of dollars in useless attacks, just like Jeb’s did earlier in the year.
