FORT BRAGG, N.C. (AP) -- Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who walked off his combat outpost in Afghanistan and spent five years in captivity, will be court-martialed under a new commander-in-chief.
A military judge decided Tuesday to delay Bergdahl's trial from August until February to provide time for resolving disputes over the defense team's access to classified documents.

Hillary said that “we bring everybody home” and she was in favor of that prisoner exchange which got Bergdahl back. Should be interesting if brought up in the debates.

When you’re done eating popcorn and watching the presidential campaign, could you bother to FIX THE COURTS?
Guy left his post intentionally with self-admitted goal of harming his command. We’ve got people in years long court cases where multiple witnesses and video show them committing their crimes. We have courts seizing private property simply because it can be done.
This case should have taken, at most, two days to adjudicate, with probably most of the focus on if he was too insane to be executed.
Congress needs to fix the beast they’ve unleashed on Americans.
The article assumes the CINC gets involved in such things. It is, of course, illegal command influence and subjects any conviction to being overturned.
Let's Obama off the hook for a Pardon and/or a medal. But I'm sure Obama would like another crack at Bergdahl's mama.
