But if the feds mandate that private businesses have to let men or the genderedwhatevers into their women’s exclusive areas, isn’t the conservative counter-move not to require the opposite, but just to give private business back the ability to choose fro themselves? That’s what the NC law did.

Now publically owned bathrooms/areas are something else.

It depends on how the fed mandates business behavior.

If, for example, there are inspectors, fines, etc. for non-compliance, then those need to be rolled back.

I’m still of the mind that even without those, any fed law requiring Sears, Wal-Mart, etc MUST have transgendered access must be rolled back legislatively.

Also, I see no problem with a state law that makes each store financially responsible to victims due to any transgendered policies that they have. I also think they should make them by law criminally complicit corporately via negligence for any such policies on unique to any store.
