Not very many people and delegate conventions tend to be filled with freaks, not normal people. Cruz won all the caucus states and delegate fights for that reason, but couldn't win with normal voters. That's why Cruz's team, according to news reports, wants to change the rules for 2020 to allow delegates to "vote their conscience" on a first ballot.
That was the state convention. He got just 43% of the vote in the Texas primary and that was early in the process...a strong opponent will win handily over him in the senate campaign. And he knows it which is why he’s starting his no apologies tour now.

We’ll see. The type of people at the convention are the same type who gave him his self-proclaimed “landslide victory” in Colorado. Most people I have talked to about it say they likely won’t be voting for him again.
Of course he got a standing O. He won his US senate seat with less than 4% of the Republican vote in TEXAS, pardner.

He’s a native (sort of, if you bypass Canada) son. He churched a bevy of folks in TEXAS and they were the overwhelming number of attendants at the Texas Convention.
He fought hard at trying to overthrow the people’s vote in every primary he could lay his hand on, to substitute their delegates with his own.
I will be trying to get Dewhurst to run against the con man Cruz.
I would say six out of ten at Convention in Texas were more than willing to support TRUMP, over Hillary. The pouting prigs were there also, but just no one cares anymore.
We are about to see the end of Cruz politically. If he weren’t such a brat, he had a chance at the SC. Don’t think it holds enough power for him, frankly. He really wants to be Saint Michael.
