It’s bot appropriate and usual for candidates to talk it over with their wives. We went round and round with Romney...IIRC.

He used to always mention his wife Mary Ann when he was married to her. Presumably also when he was cheating on her with Calista. I like a lot of what Newt has to say but at the same time he creeps me out.
