Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Saturday ordered authorities to seize factories that have stopped production and jail their owners, a day after declaring a state of emergency to combat the country's economic crisis.
"We must take all measures to recover productive capacity, which is being paralyzed by the bourgeoisie," he told a rally in Caracas.
"Anyone who wants to halt (production) to sabotage the country should get out, and those who do must be handcuffed and sent to the PGV (Venezuelan General Penitentiary)," he said.

I think the instability is because many are still working but like Weimar Germany they are working for less and less with each passing minute. In Weimar Germany restaurant prices would change while you were eating, and people were paid twice per day so they could spend money at lunchtime before it plummeted in value within a few HOURS...

And the Dems brought interest rates on savings accounts (CDs etc) to zero. The left in Europe is talking about negative rates on bank accounts. The days of getting a 3% return on your passbook savings account are gone-that has also hurt the class of savers-the middle class.
