Patrick Stewart is so vehemently opposed to a Donald Trump presidency that hes apparently paying people not to vote for him.
The actor shared a picture with his two million-plus Twitter followers this week that shows a seemingly homeless man holding a handwritten sign asking for money in exchange for a promise to not vote for Trump.
Give me a dollar, or I vote for Trump, the mans sign read.
The X-Men star said he handed the man a five dollar bill, noting that it was worth the extra four bucks.
Made me forget the humidity for a moment. Worth 5 bucks, read Stewarts tweet, that has since gone viral on the social media site.
Stewarts post came a week after the English actor aired his grievances about how no one saw the dreadful presidential candidate Donald Trump coming.
Well, of course, we had no idea that Dreadful Trump would be up to these antics that he is up to now, Stewart told Vice in an interview earlier this month. And I call them antics because how could they possibly be taken seriously.
One of Stewarts latest roles, in the horror-thriller Green Room, sees him playing Darcy Banker, a nightclub owner who happens to a neo-Nazi.
Stewart says theres some overlap between the role he played in Green Room and contemporary politics.
Ive been interested in and involved in politics all my life, the 75-year-old actor said. My first act of political civil disobedience was in 1945 during the post-war election, so I am interested in parties and groups. Particularly, in these days, we are confronted by extremist points of view and extremist actions, certainly since the troubles with the IRA.

When he was 6 years old?
Just another liberal who can go suck a fart. These people are outing themselves daily.
This is where he lives these days.
Another tiresome, brain-dead actor who thinks he’s smart enough to create the lines he’s reciting. The great thing about freedom of speech is that the idiots waste no time in outing themselves.
Wow, you’d think he’d be friends with Giuliani, at least.
The Democrat Party is already paying people not to vote for Trump or any Republican! The Democrat payroll is full of entitlement payments to voters who always vote for more bennies. That number is about 40% of the voters.
Patrick Stewart is out of touch and making a fool of himself.
Just another bald-headed, closeted, British queer.
A Man from a country that is bending over and spreading wide for Muslims, and he is going to lecture us.
Is this asshat even a citizen?
He’s a British subject - and a member of the Order of the British Empire. That’s the part that tickles me about those Strongbow cider ads... “Sir” Patrick.
Thank you - I was looking for it - and maybe the double with Riker...
Well then take your ass back to Britain Patrick and dig up George III and ask him what we think about your opinions.
A rich foreigner paying an American bum to help throw an election kind of sums up Trump’s campaign themes nicely, doesn’t?
“Just another bald-headed, closeted, British queer.”
He’s that good of an actor when it comes to film or television. He might be good on stage ... I don’t follow any of that though.
He has a perfect voice for things like audiobooks.
The only thing that makes him “funny” at times is that he type cast himself into the role of Jean-Luc Picard and it’s almost as if you’re hearing tightwad Jean-Luc Picard say something obscene.
He has his moments, but I find him to be pretty bland overall.
As for Star Trek, I find everything from the ST:TNG timeframe (this includes Voyager and DS9) to be incredibly horrible with the exception of STTNG seasons 3, 4, and 5, some of the later seasons of DS9, and any frame of video with Seven of Nine.
Patrick Stewart should count his blessings that he has international fame ... if STTNG had not gotten its act together for Season 3, his claim to fame might have been some of his screen time in the movie Dune.
Sorry ... meant “not that good of an actor”.
Apparently warp drive has warped his mind
I doubted his judgement since I saw him interview and he said he completely sacrificed his marriage for his acting career. His career was just so much more important than anything else. He was giggling about it.
The homeless man needs to ask for more, these idiots will pay anything. Heck I might even start my own after hours business, but I ‘ll keep my day job too.
“Give me a dollar, or I vote for Trump, the mans sign read. “
I hope he wasn’t standing in an area where there are lots of Trump voters, or he would have starved to death.
