A group of students at Seattle University have taken over a university dean's office, saying they won't leave unless the dean resigns and the school grants a set of demands that would heavily politicize the humanities curriculum.
Matteo Ricci College is one of eight schools at Seattle University, and focuses on the study of humanities. But the students who have taken over dean Jodi Kelly's office say the college's current curriculum is utterly stifling, and they have published a lengthy list of demands for changes.
Chief among their demands is an order for the school to adopt a new curriculum that "decentralizes Whiteness and has a critical focus on the evolution of systems of oppression such as racism, capitalism, colonialism, etc." The curriculum should be taught by "professors of color and queer professors" and should place particular emphasis not on traditional educational concepts but instead on "racism, gentrification, sexism, colonialism, imperialism, global white supremacy, and other ethical questions about systems of power."

What the heck does “decentralize whiteness” even mean? That’s like those whining because they have been “objectified”. Total nonsense.

Big woo, 30 students. Call in the SWAT team and have them removed. The first SWAT dude dressed in black who slams open the door and they’ll be crying for their mommies. The dean needs to spank each one severely and expel them forever and make sure a note attached to their transcripts. The financial office should also send a bill to their parents for any and all disruptions.
Awwww, one has his widdle bottle. Delay the SWAT team and don’t let them out for transgender potty breaks or food and water. Cut the a/c and let that sun shining through those large windows heat the place up. If only I lived nearby. I’d be outside the windows pointing and laughing at them.
In other words, we do not want "education", we want AFFIRMATION for failed beliefs we already hold, beliefs which are difficult to maintain what with all this reality going on around us.
We want from "education" the same thing we crave from the media. And for the same reason.
Simple enough solution - fail them all for being too stupid to receive a college education...

LOL. Yep, forgot about the Affirmative Action enrollment program.
But, what I have never gotten is this: how on earth do they (the college administration) expect AA enrollments to actually get through the classes and graduate? My thought: I think they don’t actually expect them to make it, they just want to take all their money until they give up. And that underlines the state of our “higher” institutions of learning: a bunch of hypocritical thieves that legally prey on the disadvantaged.
They’re too stupid to know that they have met the enemy, and it is themselves.
The administration at that college should follow The Ohio State University’s response.
