What does it take for Canadians to die of embarrassment? How about displaced Canadians? Ted, do you feel sick yet? You might have wanted to FIGHT for WTP, but at this moment you seem to be fighting yourself and making the two of you look like fools on the hill....fighting. Knock yourself out!

Someone needs to explain the meaning of the phrase “I am suspending my campaign”

While I disagreed with him I can in a way understand and admire his tenacity in staying in the race through Indiana. However, this just reeks of bad sportsmanship

If I were his wife, I couldn't stand for him to touch me. That's what I think when I see his picture. And I do not see a photo of a male and think about that normally.

I guess I'm not normal.

Damn. I supported Cruz from the beginning and voted for him in the Arizona primaries. Now all I’ve got to say is, “What an ***hole.” I hate sore losers. Cruz is acting like Algore.

I’m not buying. I attended the Texas Republican Convention today and the major theme was uniting the party. Only a few speakers mentioned Trump specifically, but those few mentions were positive.

Ted suspended his campaign, and Texas is uniting behind Trump.

Since Ted Cruz is a native son, it’s a hard pill to swallow, but the people I met and spoke with are ready to swallow it. Ted isn’t going anywhere, he will be president one day. Just not in 2016.

All of our national problems will not be solved by one presidential administration. It took a century to degrade our country to the level it is at now.

We’re ready to let Trump work his economic magic and let Cruz follow him in an election or two to finish the job.

There must be a few people that still like Cruz. I guess he is trying to remedy that.

I give Ted Cruz credit. He achieved in one election cycle something that took Harold Stassen decades to accomplish.

Why do you think Cruz owes Trump anything? What has Trump ever done to earn his loyalty? Indeed, what had Trump ever done in a long life for anyone outside of his family? He was a good father but certainly not a good husband. To whom has he contributed except to pols with their hands out? Who? He avoided time in service, although veterans, for whom he has given almost nothing materially, probably appreciate his honestly in admit that his heroism in the 70s extended to avoiding STPs. But how has your Caesar benefitted the public good so that we might expect him to have that in mind now? I fear all he wants is power and adulation. I hope to God that if he wins, he proves me wrong.

I hope when Ted’s primary comes up, Trump campaigns for his opponent, and instructs the RNC to throw money at whomever that may be.

Make this guy go back to Canada.

While Donald Trump dispatches three advisers to Texas’s convention in Dallas this week and makes a pitch for party unity, his team will be running up against a Cruz operation that is still maneuvering to stuff the state’s delegation with allies the senator could call on to snub the presumptive nominee.

Politico is stirring the pot and creating trouble where there is none. Trump is the nominee - if his health holds up, as is likely to happen, and if the delegates don't do something crazy with the rules. The difference between Cruz-selected Trump delegates and establishment Trump delegates is that, while both groups will vote Trump, the Cruz delegates are better screened and will be loyal to the outsiders in setting the rules. Trump's people don't have the staff or the background information to do the job as well (for Trump!) as the Cruz people.

Trump supporters need to stop freaking out over ever news story that mentions Cruz. Don't forget that (1) journalists hate Cruz almost as much as they hate Trump, and (2) not everything Cruz does is malicious or harmful, although it will be presented that way. If something happens to Trump, Cruz will use the delegates he selected to try to stop Kasich/Jeb/Rubio and take the nomination. Otherwise, these Cruz picks are going to help keep the establishment from changing the rules in a way that would stop Trump.

Think about it - my explanation is the only one in which picking delegates makes sense for Cruz (that and setting the platform, which is mostly symbolic). Stealing the nomination from a healthy Donald Trump would doom the party. Cruz knows that, although the establishment thinks otherwise.

So, everyone can slander Ted Cruz all they want?

Everyone can insult him?

But we cant express our opinion abut Trump, but you can slam Ted Cruz supporters and lie and tell people that Cruz’s father was involved in the JFK assassination?

All that is ok?

This is my 5th post, I think, that has to be moderated, none of the others were posted, so, I guess as long as I lie about Ted Cruz, I can post?

Set me straight here...

It is starting to look like we dodged a bullet when Trump decided now is the time........only 94 delegates to go and 400 or so open (before others get released).....
