It would never have occurred to me until you suggested it, but it makes very good sense; another option would be Sec of Defense, with Bolton as Sec of State, but I would be very happy with either.

They had to destroy this clean cut mid-westerner and his lovely wife. They knew he was a talent, and had the image. G-d Forbid the GOP have their own handsome JFK if you will. Dan Quayle is a good man in my opinion. He was unjustifiably ridiculed by everyone in DC! I can’t blame him for leaving DC politics. It’s a stinking cesspool.
