Here is the case, or part of the case, for influencing libertarians, fiscal conservatives, small-government conservatives, free-market conservatives, evangelical Christian conservatives, moral value conservatives, and other persons-who-dislike-Donald-Trump that it is okay to vote for Donald Trump:

Presidents appoint and otherwise bring with them about 7000 government executives.

Whatever you think of Trump’s person or personal worldview or personal behaviors, he will, as President, come with about 7000 persons in policy-making and policy-execution positions who will, for the most part, lean in the conservative or middle ideological direction.

Hillary or Sanders will also bring with them about 7000 persons. In Hillary’s case, they will be hard left, or lean left, and be overwhelmingly Progressive party apparatchiks. In Bernie’s case, they will lean hard left in the same manner as those of Obama.

The President as an individual with a personal worldview and personal inclinations is, arguably, responsible for only [choose a small number] percent of the policy and execution direction of the executive branch. The larger portion is generated by, arguable, these 7000 policy formulators, policy makers, and policy executors.

We place WAAAAAAAAY too much emphasis on the President the man during election campaign vetting.
