I have believed from the start of the ‘primary’ campaign, that Trump is merely part of the kabuki show. Entertain the ‘proles’ and let them think they have power over their destiny. ‘Bread and Circuses’. Trump has had many financial dealings with György Soros in the past, often supported Billygoat, and Hellary was invited and attended Trump’s wedding in 2005. Money (and power) hang together with money (and power). He is not now, nor ever has he been, a social conservative.

Those with power or wealth try to maintain the status quo. PERIOD! Trump is of the moneyed class and wishes to maintain that. PERIOD! As do the Clintons, the Cruzes, the Bushes, the Rubios, etc.

Trump CANNOT and will not, and likely does not want to change the status quo. Politicians of ALL STRIPES promise a changed world at each election, be it the US, Canada, UK, Deutschland, France, etc. In the end, it is all about power, their DESIRE for power! Money and power attract each other, like bees to nectar. He/she who has power, more easily obtains more money, more money means getting more power, the cycle continues! For politicians, THAT is the ultimate goal!

There has not been a decent, conservative politician in ANY Western country for decades! Even Stephen Harper, my country’s former PM, succumbed to the temptations of power, abandoning many conservative principles, to maintain such power.

I sure hope that I am wrong about Trump, but that ‘feeling’ I had about him from the beginning, has not changed. To any FReepers who wish to attack me for daring to point out that Donald Trump is no ‘saint’, feel free; even those self-described ‘Christians’ who feel they are imitating Christ by swearing at, and calling names of, those who disagree with their point of view.

NOTE: AFAIR, neither of the FReepers to whom this is addressed, has used such epithets, but many others have!
