Clinton is coming under pressure, as federal investigators question her top aides about the private email scandal that is haunting the former Secretary of State’s campaign for the presidency.
Clinton is still reeling from news that her former staffer Bryan Pagliano’s emails are not in the possession of the State Department. Pagliano, who installed Clinton’s private server, pleaded the Fifth Amendment to avoid self-incrimination in the growing criminal investigation.
“The Department has searched for Mr. Pagliano’s email pst file and has not located one that cover the time period of Secretary Clinton’s tenure,” a State Department spokesman said Monday. Pagliano’s missing emails are raising transparency alarms among observers of the case.
“The whole thing stinks to high heaven,” said Metcalfe, the founding director of the Office of Information and Privacy within the Department of Justice and onetime chief DOJ official for overseeing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) matters.
As 147 FBI agents work on the investigation, Clinton’s top aide Cheryl Mills is feeling the heat. Mills and her attorney reportedly left her interrogation by the FBI, regrouped, and later came back when the FBI went off script.
Mills and her lawyer left the room — though both returned a short time later — and prosecutors were somewhat taken aback that their FBI colleague had ventured beyond what was anticipated, the people said…
The questions that were considered off limits had to do with the procedure used to produce emails to the State Department so they could possibly be released publicly, the people said. Mills, an attorney herself, was not supposed to be asked questions about that — and ultimately never was in the recent interview — because it was considered confidential as an example of attorney-client privilege, the people said.
Clinton has yet to be called by investigators.

The Kremlin is debating whether to release the 20,000 emails they have hacked off of Hillary Clinton’s server.
According to a report from four days ago, beginning in 2011, the Russians began monitoring Romanian computer hacker Marcel Lazăr Lehel (aka Guccifer) after he attempted, unsuccessfully, to break into the computer system of the Russian funded RT television network.
After monitoring Guccifer, the Russians were reportedly able to record (both physically and electronically) his actions which allowed the Russian intelligence analysts, in 2013, to not only detect his breaking into the private computer of Secretary Clinton, but also break in and copy all of its contents as well.
The report notes that shortly after Russia obtained Clinton’s emails, they released a limited amount to RT TV which were published in an article in March 2013, titled Hillary Clinton’s ‘hacked’ Benghazi emails: FULL RELEASE.
Apparently no Western journalists promoted this story in 2013.

No, but I wouldn’t put it past her to orchestrate something that makes her look golden. Getting the DOJ to say, Hillary had no involvement in this becomes a campaign ad.
I wonder if Comey is facing some pressure from the inside to get out there and dispute all the faulty reports and speculation surrounding this investigation.
I don’t think Comey will offer any specifics about the investigation, but will assert repeatedly that it is ongoing and any statements from anonymous “officials” about the proceedings and outcome should not be taken seriously.
The Clinton war room is attempting to set the narrative as being a witch hunt with no substance whatsoever.
I used to back up my .pst files to a USB drive before deleting them. All of my e-mails were positive and could be used for a defense.
I have believed from the start of the ‘primary’ campaign, that Trump is merely part of the kabuki show. Entertain the ‘proles’ and let them think they have power over their destiny. ‘Bread and Circuses’. Trump has had many financial dealings with György Soros in the past, often supported Billygoat, and Hellary was invited and attended Trump’s wedding in 2005. Money (and power) hang together with money (and power). He is not now, nor ever has he been, a social conservative.
Those with power or wealth try to maintain the status quo. PERIOD! Trump is of the moneyed class and wishes to maintain that. PERIOD! As do the Clintons, the Cruzes, the Bushes, the Rubios, etc.
Trump CANNOT and will not, and likely does not want to change the status quo. Politicians of ALL STRIPES promise a changed world at each election, be it the US, Canada, UK, Deutschland, France, etc. In the end, it is all about power, their DESIRE for power! Money and power attract each other, like bees to nectar. He/she who has power, more easily obtains more money, more money means getting more power, the cycle continues! For politicians, THAT is the ultimate goal!
There has not been a decent, conservative politician in ANY Western country for decades! Even Stephen Harper, my country’s former PM, succumbed to the temptations of power, abandoning many conservative principles, to maintain such power.
I sure hope that I am wrong about Trump, but that ‘feeling’ I had about him from the beginning, has not changed. To any FReepers who wish to attack me for daring to point out that Donald Trump is no ‘saint’, feel free; even those self-described ‘Christians’ who feel they are imitating Christ by swearing at, and calling names of, those who disagree with their point of view.

If foreign intelligence agencies don’t have copies of her emails they are not doing their job. They have unlimited funds unlike Gucifer. The FBI should check with Putin, Kim Jong-un or Israeli intelligence if they want copies. This type of information comes in handy. If Clinton were to make it to the White House she would be vulnerable.

What script? I thought the FBI was a criminal investigation super-agency. I guess not for they have to operated via some type of PC script.

No matter the outcome of the investigation, no matter a pardon by zero, no matter anything....................nothing can change the simple fact of the matter as you've stated it above. She is unelectable.
He made copies, deleted them from her files and has them stashed on another computer. He is IT he would be able to erase everything. He has,wants, and needs an insurance policy against the Clintons to CYA for himself to keep himself from being prosecuted.
