Hillary Clinton is putting magician David Copperfield to shame with her vanishing voter trick.
Her base of support is disappearing right before our eyes, but unlike Copperfield, Clinton isnt putting on an act.
On Tuesday, Clinton lost the West Virginia primary to 74-year-old socialist Bernie Sanders 51% to 36%.
Thats a stark contrast to 2008, when she trounced Barack Obama, 66.9% to 25.7% (John Edwards received 7.3%).
But perhaps whats more shocking is the raw vote total.
In 2008, she received 240,890 votes. Yesterday, Clinton netted 84,176 votes, according to NBC a 65% decline.
Other numbers show how the American landscape has shifted under Clintons feet.
According to data obtained at the polls yesterday, 33% of Democrats say they will vote for Donald Trump in November. Only 44% of Dems say theyll vote Clinton. Twenty-one percent say theyll support neither.
Yeah, well, when your party declares it’s goal is to put you all out of work, that’ll happen.
OOps... sounds like they need to get a better game plan. this ole lady ain’t rallying any troops.
If this analysis keeps up, a Hillary win will be mathematically impossible.
When they coronate her as President (Because I think it’s very much in the line of possibility) we will need to remember the math.
I laugh at this criminal’s complete incompetence and degeneracy.
“According to data obtained at the polls yesterday, 33% of Democrats say they will vote for Donald Trump in November.”
I’m assuming that that poll result is from West Virginia only, but dayum!
If that poll is any indicator of national trends, there’s going to be significant bleed-over from Dem voters in November.
Schadenfreude. I am enjoying it immensely.
Don’t political pros talk about a concept called “voter enthusiasm”; not sure if that is the correct terminology. But the idea being, voter turnout will be higher if people have positive feelings about the candidate, and believe in their candidate. They are more likely to get out and vote if they have strong positive feelings about their candidate.
In the case of Hillary, could there be Hillary fatigue among Democrat voters? How enthusiastic are Democrats to get out there and do get out the vote drives and all the rest of it, for Hillary???
And how enthusiastic are big numbers of liberal or Democrat voters, to vote for Hillary? Maybe they won’t make it to the polls on election day; they might have to rearrange their sock drawer that day? They might forget to send away for their mail in ballot, etc. etc.
At work, I notice that, even among Democrats here, there is consensus that Hillary is corrupt. Enthusiasm is low.
One caution about this: I believe a lot of people voted for Sanders in the WV primary because they couldn't vote for Trump.
I'll leave it to someone else to explain why, or correct me.
I was an unofficial Operation Chaos voter yesterday. I voted for Sanders and so did hubby. We did our part to hand a loss to Hillary.
I can't figure out why she even made ANY campaign stops in W.Va., unless she thought her lie about "misspeaking" concerning destroying the Coal Industry would be swallowed hook, line and sinker by the ignorant peasants.
