Donald Trump may have thought he delivered the knock-out punch to Ted Cruz -- but the Texas senator apparently doesn't see himself down and counted out of the 2016 Republican presidential race.
Not yet, anyway.
Cruz, in an interview Tuesday with radio host and supporter Glenn Beck, opened the door just a crack to kick-starting his now-suspended campaign if he somehow starts winning primary contests again. Asked what hed do if, for instance, Nebraska voters back him in Tuesdays primary, Cruz said he assumes that wont happen but added:
Lets be very clear, if there is a path to victory -- we launched this campaign intending to win.
He said he suspended his campaign last week because he didnt see a viable path after his loss in Indiana, but, If that changes, we will certainly respond accordingly.

He obviously is planning to use some dirty tricks at the convention.
I just hope Trump will walk in there with the required 1237 and forestall it.
So, in any states where the primaries are yet to happen, even though technically everyone except Trum withdrew, we still need to get out and give votes to Trump, to make sure he gets those key 1237 delegates going into the convention.
Has anyone ever done this before, un-suspending a moribund campaign? Jebra wants 2 know!
Cruz kicks the closed door of his dead campaign.
Explains why his waterboy Rush has still been Trump bashing and Cruz promoting.
Never ever trust Ted Cruz. Or Glenn Beck. They are two bad actors.
Maybe his time with Glenn Beck made him even more delusional?
I believe the clown-show is just trying to keep his name in the news. It’s just like with his government shutdown when he didn’t even bother to see if he had any support. It makes you wonder if it was just an attention seeking shutdown.
Yeah, I was okay with a shutdown but, if you’re going to do it, do it right.
Make dignity your legacy.
No, no, no. Stop. Being. So. Silly!
That's a mighty big if . . . and it just went down the Johnny Flusher in Indiana last week.
Never trust anyone who says “Let’s be very clear”. Nothing good has ever followed those words....

Looks like a couple of weeks ago, thought we were over this crap....
Sad.
This bus left the station for good in Indiana.
What’s he going to do...suspend his suspended campaign if he loses in Nebraska tonight? ...which I believe is going to happen in a big way.
...and I say this as a former Cruz supporter.
Ted needs to use his skills to start mending bridges and uniting the party against Hitlery for November. That’s what he could do that would be most beneficial.
“Explains why his waterboy Rush has still been Trump bashing and Cruz promoting.
Never ever trust Ted Cruz. Or Glenn Beck. They are two bad actors.”
Rush LImbaugh has also proven to my satisfaction that he’s a “bad actor” too.
This poses the question: is Cruz insane like Beck, or is he just stupid?
“Never trust anyone who says Lets be very clear. Nothing good has ever followed those words....”
Add to that the word “comprehensive!” My sphincter tighens appreciably every time I hear a politician utter it! It is always spoken by a politican who has a serious erection!
“Ted needs to use his skills to start mending bridges and uniting the party against Hitlery for November. Thats what he could do that would be most beneficial.”
You are absolutely right. Unfortunately he is so caught up in his delusions, he doesn’t see the obvious and that he is hurting himself in the long term by not doing the honorable, right thing now that you described.
Not just an off the cuff remark to Glenn Beck about un-suspending his campaign! He’s been doing polling in South Dakota over the weekend about this! Please Ted, go away!
Delusional.
