Undoubtedly. Just like so many drivers on the road today, they are slow, plodding, and dangerous. People get frustrated, and THEY get in accidents accordingly.
Grew up in the generation. Seen lots of pot smoking driving. Mostly, its hilarious when seen from the outside. Munchies are the only reason you would WANT to get in a car when stoned. A couch, or nice comfy chair, music, or a good TV show, or a nice happy mate are overwhelming reasons to stay just where you are.
Unlike Alchol, where you have to deal with belligerence, meanness, loss of motor control, all very different, and very dangerous.

And the two don’t mix — slow to react, high on pot and frustrated and angry.

I was thinking bad weather might be a problem. Sometimes during winter, my drive into work is “white knuckle” all the way. It would be nice to be calmer and not care but I doubt that that would be a good idea if the guy in front of me spins out and I need to react quickly.

And there is a side benefit, too for the government — instead of the natives being restless, they are passive and calm and easy to manipulate in their drug induced stupor. And as long as they are given their Doritos and fried Pork Rinds, the pot smokers are very happy and will continue to vote for you. :)
