In the first Gallup poll from 1945 just after the bombings, a huge 85 percent of Americans approved the bombings.

Americans were much smarter back then.

Americans were also true patriots back then. Today, America is full of Traitors, thanks to Marxism being taught in our schools.

I agree that we should NOT have used the ATOM BOMB on Hiroshoma, we should have nuked Tokyo and killed 2 million instead of 100,000, good grief!!! S/ON/Off/ON/Off

Americans family members and friends were loosing their lives back the. We are many generations away from that pain

When dad visited the WWII memorial on an honor Flight it was days before he could speak without breaking into sobs. Finally when he was able to talk, I asked what impressed him the most
He said. “All those gold stars and how many more there would be we had not dropped the bomb!”
Then he mentioned so many he knew who had lost their lives.

Americans were much smarter back then.

Less years of formal schooling but more real learning packed into those years.

Less mush pushed into their brains by leftist agents posing as teachers.

Stronger patriotism and national pride.

Learned there are such absolutes as right and wrong, good and bad.

Knew the differences between fact and feelings, science and wishes.

Emerged into adulthood much better equipped to make fact based judgements.

The current figure is a result of distance. Most people alive today have no memory of WWII, the war in the Pacific, and barely an inkling of Pearl Harbor. They have no idea of how many lives were saved, only those lost. Lots of people/institutions to thank for that ignorance: MSM/public Schools/Universities primarily.

Todays people have no context.................

What do you compare the decision to? Then you get a different answer.
