Alright, try this on and see if you still believe that...

"Paul of Tarsus is Truly a Terrible Representative of Evangelicals"

Not to equate Dr. Moore with Apostle Paul and forget for a moment that it is Trump making the comment, if *any* candidate made such a statement, wouldn't you assume anyone who is a "terrible representative" of a faith must be a heretic and if you attack someone as a heretic, can you not also be attacking their faith?

If I say Billy Graham or Joel Osteen or Creflo Dollar or Fred Phelps is a "terrible representative" of evangelicals, aren't I also condemning that person's faith? Don't I also imply the person is a heretic whose words should not be believed?

The problem with tweets is they usually leave no room for clarification. But, at face value, I take Trump's words as a condemnation of Moore's faith.

Under these circumstances, you wouldn’t be attacking their faith; you’d be attacking their judgment. The individual’s judgment. There’s a difference between a person’s judgment on matters political or secular, and their faith.

I can say I don’t like this Pope and think he’s a terrible representative of the Catholic Church. Does that question his faith? Or the Catholic Church? Or its members? I think not. I just think THIS Pope has terrible judgment.
