I sent in a recommendation through the Trump website, but I’m afraid it might have gotten lost in the shuffle. I believe that tomorrow, I will send perhaps half a dozen registered letters to the Trump campaign, in the hopes of getting to someone in the selection process. Any suggestions?

Her other problem, re being his VEEP, is that she, like Gerry Ferraro, had a husband ( they're now divorced ) who allegedly had Mafia connections and some other "problems". That won't matter for an AG, but would for a VEEP !

I sent in Fitzgerald’s name, and said he probably would say no. I would like to see him as Trump’s VP, and get the shot at President, in 4 years if Trump steps down by then, and I could see Trump doing this, with the right VP waiting in the wings.

Peter Fitzgerald would have the added irony of rubbing salt in the wounds of the GOPe, who through their treachery forced him to retire after one principled term. See the Twelfth Amendment to the constitution providing that each state's electors each vote distinctly for one person to be POTUS and another person to be VPOTUS, and that one of the two must not reside in the same state as the elector. Thus, Texas electors and Texas electors alone were constitutionally prohibited from voting for George W. Bush and Richard Cheney unless one moved to another state and it was Cheney who had previously represented Wyoming in Congress who moved since George W. Bush was the incumbent governor of Texas.
