Donald Trump proposed a temporary ban on all Muslims entering the U.S. should he be elected president, but he might have at least one name on his list of exceptions: Sadiq Khan, the new mayor of London.
There will always be exceptions, Trump said on Monday, according to the New York Times. I was happy to see that [he was elected]
Because I think if he does a great job, it will reallyyou lead by example, always lead by example. If he does a good job and frankly if he does a great job, that would be a terrific thing.

NO SOROS AND NO *^&%$#@$# EXCEPTIONS TO THE MUSLIM BAN- I'm upset, I can use all caps
Sadiq Khan, the new mayor of London, as I understand it was not looking to come here and stay under any kind of work or student or other long term visa.
If he is a visiting Mayor, then he comes and goes back.
I believe Trump’s ban was more for people coming here to stay for any kind of duration or to immigrate.
Personally, I believe Sadiq Khan, who has had supportive things to say about Islamic extremists in the past, should be put on an absolute no fly list.
This London Mayor may be Muslim, but he has been vetted, probably more thoroughly than our own president. So, yes, this big town mayor could be an exception.
See, Trump is going to reverse on everything that matters.
If I claim that I am a refugee, can I just move to London with no problems? Can I sign up for their welfare too? I just wonder if they have the same rules or if they discriminate against Christian American?
He isn’t immigrating here.
The POS mayor said that he considered moderate Muslims "Uncle Toms." He also defended an AQ terrorist. If anyone shouldn't be allowed in our country, it's him.
They used fear and innuendo to try to turn different ethnic and religious groups against each other something straight out of the Donald Trump playbook, Khan wrote in The Observer newspaper.
Correct. A visitation is not an immigration.
Stepped on his crank again, it’s Yuuuge!
Of course, that does not change Trump's stance.
In 2001 he was the lawyer for the Nation of Islam in its successful High Court bid to overturn the 15-year-ban on its leader, Louis Farrakhan.
In 2005 and 2006 he visited terror-charged Babar Ahmad in Woodhill Prison. Mr. Ahmed was extradited to the U.S. in 2012, serving time in prison before being returned to the UK in 2015. Mr. Ahmed pleaded guilty to the terrorist offences of conspiracy, and providing material support to the Taliban.
And Mr. Khan also campaigned for the release and repatriation of Shaker Aamer, Britains last Guantanamo detainee, who was returned to the UK in November.
He’s not reversing...
I think that people really should take a look at some of the things this guy’s written.
He is definitely not Mr. Popular among radical Muslims.
It doesn’t matter to Trumpies.
It’s like “Survivor” We have a “Winner.”
It doesn’t matter what he says or does only so long we have a “winner.”
Trump welcomes the extremist mayor from Londonstand, “come come, winner, winner.”
They both look perpetually pissed off

Well, well, well.... what were you saying??
This guy, whoever he really is, isn’t pretending to be a refugee and then coming here to get welfare while he plots how to blow us up.
Mr. Trump certainly does relish unpredictability!!! This stance is a bit of a surprise and gave me some pause at first.
However, he apparently believes the new London Mayor might be able to lead by example—perhaps becoming a valuable ally in “figuring what the hell is going on” in the war on Radical Islamic Terrorism!!!! It is a bitter pill to swallow right now; hopefully President Trump can work with this guy to come up with answers!
It’s tragic how so much of Europe has been overtaken by Muslims, sharia law practices and unspeakable crimes. I know atrocities are destroying Germany, France and the Scandinavian nations.
I pray Mr. Trump WON’T REGRET offering the proverbial olive branch!!!
Could you post a reference for that.
