There was a video that surfaced of Rody Duterte about 3am this morning, after visiting his mom's grave, he was captured weeping loudly. He tried to hide it, but he is just as surprised as the others that he is to be the new President. He realizes the opportunity and the challenge of the task.
The Philippines have been challenged with dynasties and corruption(very interesting history video-15 min.). This is the first President that came from this Island. Most are from the "Capitol Region" and live in guarded communities. Rody lives in a decent house(click to view short video of his house), but not a palace. The one feature it offers him is ready access to the fairways of a golf course next door where his helicopter can land.
