Ted Cruz Backers Seek to Control Convention Platform

Senator Ted Cruzs supporters are mounting an effort to seize control of the Republican platform and the rules governing the partys July convention, the first indication that Mr. Cruz will not simply hand his delegates over to Donald J. Trump.
In an email sent Sunday to pro-Cruz convention delegates, a top aide to the Texas senator wrote that it was still possible to advance a conservative agenda at the convention.
To do that, it is imperative that we fill the Rules and Platform Committees with strong conservative voices like yours, wrote Ken Cuccinelli, who was the campaigns former delegate wrangler and a former attorney general of Virginia. That means you need to come to the national convention and support others in coming, too!
Mr. Cruz is planning a Monday evening conference call where, as Mr. Cuccinelli writes, Mr. Cruzs former officials plan to discuss what we can do at the convention to protect against liberal changes to our platform, and how we can right the wrongs in the rules from 2012!

If true, looks like Cruz has decided to go the full implosion route as opposed to living to fight another day. If Cruz attempts this, his career is over.

"Cruz is going to be lucky if he is even let into the convention."And this is what it will come down to - NO podium time for Tedlim in Cleveland.

"Trump won by winning less than 50% of the Republican primary vote."Oh, you Tedlims. The GOP primary race started with 17 candidates, then 9 candidates, then 6, then 5, then 3...now 1.
Meanwhile Trump blew past the 10-million primary vote mark before Indiana, eclipsing Bishop Dullard & McCrisis, and will pass Bush's 10.8-million record before California...

He signed a pledge to back the winner and we recall them pushing that pledge on Trump during the first debate. Trump did sign it later and now we have punks like Bush, Graham, and Cruz refusing to. It appears no one knows which Republican’s word is any damn good.

Your post suggests to me that there is not a single thing that Trump could say or do that would get you to like or vote for him.
So why bother wasting time and effort?

Trump was the only one of the 17 that supports Kelo.
Apparently you weren't paying attention when FReeper 'Hostage' set you straight on that last month.
Try reading it again, slowly this time:
Regarding 'KELO' and Trump:
Fr: Hostage
To: jwalsh07
"As a developer he does what developers do every day in their work, try to entice eyesore owners to sell, and if that doesnt work, work with the community to use eminent domain.
Trump offered that stupid woman Vera Coking, called stupid by her own family, offered twice more at nearly $2 million for her eyesore, but she had to show the fat cats something. She showed them how stupid she was and how awful she treated the youth of her own family who would have been raised several notches in society had she done the smart thing.
Did she have a right to not sell? Of course she did. But today her family shakes their heads wondering if she had a right to be so stupid. After she died, they couldnt sell her lot for $250,000 after the RE crash.
Most families have a crazy aunt like Vera, stupid and stubborn. Most of them understand that such relatives are a frustrating embarrassment.
Trump was gracious to that stupid woman. She won her case because he would no longer support his Atlantic City partners in trying to condemn her property via Eminent Domain.
But Jeb! shut up real quick about Trump and Coking because his family was also doing the same in lay plans to build Bush stadium.
And republicans in Congress also shut up real quick about it because the Keystone Pipeline is also of the same situation.
So go ahead and stick some Kelo up your butt about Trump. Your kind are so few, they could only help a long lost Cruz delegate sleeping under a rock in Wyoming."

You are out of your league young lady. Everybody with a brain knows Trump supports Kelo, whether they support Trump or not. While most of them are willing to overlook it only brown shirt worms like you embrace it.

Make a note here Sparky, I'm 100 percent U.S. male, so you need to get your gender confusion squared away, of course it is also possible you're engaging in one of the most lame tactics on FR, but I can understand that as you've been self-reduced to an insignificant troll who just can't handle reality.
That's sad, Jimmy boy, real sad.
I provided plenty of context regarding Trump's position on Kelo in my post #131 courtesy of FReeper 'Hostage' who likewise tried to educate you last month, obviously it didn't take.
As for me 'embracing' it, once again you're talking out of your ass about things you know nothing about.
I'll see if I can locate one of those popular books for you, "OPUS for DUMMIES", ok?
