On Monday and Tuesday, PBS will devote most of its prime-time schedule to a two-night event built around the theme Armed in America as part the services ongoing coverage of gun violence. Two films under the Independent Lens banner will air, followed by town hall discussions moderated by former ABC News correspondent Michel Martin (now weekend anchor of NPRs All Things Considered). (Both town halls were taped April 27 at Northland Church in Longwood, Florida.)

I would like to have a buck for every time they mention the NRA.
Of course there will be long interviews of several of the thousands of men and women who carry everything up to,and *including*,surface to air missiles to protect a certain disciple of a swell fella named Bill Ayers,of NY Times 9/11/2001 fame.
The “Pure Bull $hit” network.
NO way, ever would I watch anything these days from PBS.
I saw a preview for this and it had somebody talking about ‘worshiping’ guns. I think I’ll let others here watch it and tell me about it. I have to work at that time, anyway.
I haven’t watched PBS since “The New Yankee Workshop” went off the air.
“I saw a preview for this and it had somebody talking about worshiping guns.”
Oh mighty Smith & Wesson, hollow pointed be thy names, give us this day our daily ammunition, and deliver the trespassers unto our sights :D
This will be the precursor to an Obama executive order in the next month or so, count on it. They are going wild now, in his last year, and have no concern whatsoever as to whether their actions even appear legal.
I expect those programs will be anti-gun propaganda. Most of the gun violence is committed by urban non-whites. Their solution? Ban whites from owning guns. F them.

You could pay for a Lifetime Patron membership.
They dont just admit they are peddling propaganda.
They are bragging about peddling propaganda.
“This will be the precursor to an Obama executive order in the next month or so, count on it.”
I’ve been hearing this for the last 8 years.
So would I. It would sure move retirement up a couple of years.
But I'd pay it all to the guy at one of these "Town Halls" who stood up and said, "I'm sick and tired of the constant barrage of propaganda. No more talk. The answer is 'No'. Deal with it."
The liberal media are pulling out all the stops..anti-gun, "Roots II", and gawd knows what else to come.
There they go again! PBS (Permanent Bull Shit) in their drive to scare the women and timid males again. Scare them so much that they will actually think by disarming those who could protect them that it will make them safe? Something wrong here?
Notice the words “gun VIOLENCE!” Not the words “gun crime.”
The word “violence” instils visions by women and timid men of brutish neanderthals roaming the land looking to kill, maim and hurt them with their clubs and sticks. Take the clubs and sticks, castrate the neanderthals and we will have “world peace” and they will become timid themselves and we will all sail into the sunset toward “happyland” in a pink boat with flowers for sails singing kumbaya.
They won’t face the fact that CRIME is the issue and that CRIMINALS don’t obey laws. The only way to control crime is to dispatch the criminals by bullet or death in prison.
This will be the precursor to an Obama executive order in the next month or so, count on it.

______________
His latest executive order involving firearms was just 4 months ago. I expect more before he leaves.
I wonder if they will give accurate statistics on what percentage of gun crime is committed by properly licensed gun owners with properly registered firearms? Criminals generally don’t bother with such nonsense, after all.
And will they stress the fact that any form of registration or licensing is an infringement upon the right, and therefore unconstitutional? < /sarc >
Yawn another ANTI-GUN sceed, one of dozens or more that have been on TV in the last fifty years.
***I saw a preview for this and it had somebody talking about worshiping guns.***
NOTHING new. Back around 1968-69 MAD MAGAZINE had an anti-gun spoof mocking “worshiping” guns.
