Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on CBSs Face the Nation on Sunday that she always takes classified material seriously and that she was not aware of any argument about that.
I always took classified material seriously, Clinton said, responding to a question from host John Dickerson about the controversy over her using a private email server for official business when she was secretary of state. There was never any material marked classified that was sent or received by me. And I look forward to this being wrapped up.

Depends what the meaning of server serves.
Judge Nap is all over it and doing a great job. I proposed that they start with a simple charge - violation of the Pubic Records Act of 1950 - no intent needed, failing to “take care of” ANY pubic document and shielding it from FOIA process, with penalties being that she would be ineligible for holding public office. Simple, right? Others want the WHOLE BANANA, kill the witch, make sure the flying house firmly crashes down on her head and squishes her so the Munchkins can celebrate.....and then send her to prison.
Serious dollars to be made selling the information to the enemy, is what she means.
of course she takes it seriously....OUR SECRETS that she sold to foreign enemy govts. has made the Clintons MULTI MULTI MILLIONAIRES!!
Everyone, meaning all who has ever worked with classified material, is totally on to this specious bit of deceptive parsing.
Classified material is marked with the appropriate classification, not..."Classified".
Hillary. Always with the deceit, always with the sophistry.
Exactly right. The term "Classified" is a general term encompassing specific categories of classification markings such as "Confidential", "Secret" "Top Secret", etc. The only place you will see a document stamped with the word "Classified" is on TV or in the movies. This is Hillary's version of "it depends on what the meaning of the word "is" is."
There, fixed it.
Again, classic Clinton style tactics. It gets old with everyone but the media and the DNC.
He literally "takes it", Seriously.
She belidves she is not lying. She stripped off the classified header info, so she never had any classified material pass through her server.
She is a demented rationalizing lawyer that got fired for being too much of a demented rationalizing lawyer.
I read this book years ago, and just read it again last weekend: "Unlimited Access" by Gary Aldrich
Gary Aldrich was the FBI person in the White House for both the HW Bush and Clinton administrations who was responsible for putting together the SPIN reports which were used to grant or deny security access, and his assessment in his book published in 1998 details the Clinton Administration's attitude towards security, from all the way at the top the the people at the very bottom, was threefold:
1.) Security was a nuisance and uneccessary.
2.) Security was a personal affront
3.) Security of all types, from wearing security badges, getting approval for appointments or hires, or document security, was to be circumvented at every junction possible.
If you read this book, the actions of Hillary Clinton circumventing LAW are shown to be part and parcel of her character. Her email server activities are right in line.
Not to mention her attitudes and criminal behavior.
If you haven't read this book, I highly suggest it.
"And who would want this information and how much is it worth?"
She'll "monitor the situation closely".
“...classified that was sent or received by me. And I look forward to this being wrapped up. So that I can get back to work for the American People.
Brilliant !
Is that real?
and word order...
"Seriously, I always took classified material."
Thanks, I own it somewhere. Need to reread. I just read the other month that Stone book, The Clintons’ War on Women, which is about much more than just their treatment of women. You think you know everything about them, but here is always more to learn about their evil deeds.
SoS? No classified material? G I V E_ M E _A_BREAK
Documents are marked “confidential”,”secret” or “top secret”. Documents are never marked “classified”. If a Clinton would argue the meaning of “is”, one has to be doubly care with the simplest words.
