Cruz is one weird out of touch strange person. The "Cuban Tag Team" taking on Trump in the debate damaged both of them, and was probably a factor in Rubio dropping out. I don't think sane voters were or are ready to embrace a ticket which is two pols with status as natural born citizens that can be questioned.

Cruz will never wake up from his delusions. The more folks saw of his tactics and superiority complex, the more likely they are to agree with Boehner and McCain on their assessments of him.

Look what Cruz did. He threw Fiorina, Rubio, Kasich, and Carson under the bus. Interestingly, he doesn't seem to have been much involved in destroying Jeb's campaign.

The "Cuban Tag Team" taking on Trump in the debate damaged both of them,

That was the very moment that Cruz lost my vote. I'd already written off Rubio by then.

3 days before that debate, Trump hater extraordinaire Ben Shapiro did a piece that said they should "machine gun" Trump from both sides. They did just that and only strengthened Trumps support while killing their own chances.

Smooth move, Ted.

Because Trump took out Jeb so it saved the work and $$$ for Cruz to have to do it himself.
