“What the ownership of Chick-fil-A has said is wrong. I’m certainly not going to patronize them and I wouldn’t urge any other New Yorker to patronize them.”

If we recall the events relating to Chick Fil A:

The owner/founder of the company said in an interview with a religious themed magazine that he believes marriage is a man and a woman.

Based on this the homosexual activists targeted the company for destruction.

The homosexual activists ERRONEOUSLY decided that the company is anti-LGBT. The company welcomes and serves all customers.

The company does not discriminate in service or employment based on sexual orientation.

The company observes all laws in operating their business, including all anti discrimination laws.

If Chick Fil A discriminates, then why has there never been a lawsuit against them, by some former or potential employee, claiming they were fired or discriminated agaisnt because they were gay?

The reason is that this alleged discrimination never happened. Yet the left jumped all over Chick Fil A to try to make an example out of them. But their efforts failed.

Why is de Blasio still barking up this tree? The Chick Fil A boycott failed. And heck, whats up with this, considering that the left WON the battle over homosexual marriage. Bill, have you heard what the Supreme Court decreed?? You liberals won!! Homosexual marriage happens in all 50 states now. So why the need to revive an old debate which is over, and pick on a company which will contribute tax revenues to your pathetic administration????? Don’t you want to see ALL local businesses in New York City do well, so you have more tax money for your socialism???

Why is de Blasio still barking up this tree?

Because Saul Alinsky.

“Why is deBlasio still barking up this tree?”

Because the bulk of the news about him is focused on the Federal and State investigations into his campaign finance operations. Even Democrats who should be allies are chastising him about that. Corruption is a very big issue in New York at this time. He needs to throw up a distraction - any distraction - even if it means costing people jobs.
