Donald Trump is giving the over-educated geeks who run the world a sharp lesson in reality
Telegraph uk ^ | Friday 6 MAY 2016 | TIM NEWARK

How we can re-balance our society to meet these needs should be the primary concern for the pointy-heads who call themselves politicians and want to brush under the carpet issues of immigration and blue-collar unemployment. Trump is addressing this brilliantly and reaping the electoral success. I have no doubt that he will trash the outdated views of the Geek-in-Chief Hillary Clinton and become President.

Like Reagan before him, Trump is the great communicator of his time, and while his style might not be to everyone’s taste he is in sync with the zeitgeist. He is bringing back disgruntled voters who had given up on the whole process and is giving them hope. Those blue-collar workers who always looked to the Democrats to give them a break now look to Trump. The under-educated—normally ignored and despised by the media—are getting their moment to speak, and they’re not as dumb as they look. They’re actually street smart, full of common sense, and way ahead of the curve on this.

Maybe the geeks who rule us at the moment, who are not doing a very good job of it, need a few extra classes in reality. That's why Donald Trump gets my vote.

Don’t forget us college educated professionals. It’s YUGE.

It didn’t take a civil war. It just took one man to light the fuse.

Dilbert creator Scott Adams, who admires Trump’s persuasive abilities pointed out that he uses a “4th grade speaking style” because “it worls”. Everything Trump says is clear and understandable to all Americans, there is no question about “nuance” or “what the definition of ‘is’ is”. He speaks to real Americans and if the elites don’t like it, wait what elites??? Have they got a better airplane than Trump? What makes them “elite” anyhow, because they use big words?

While I agree with the author I still think he and many others are locked into a “us and them” analysis. The voters supporting Trump are not JUST “blue-collar” and “undereducated” or “Angry” voters.

No, today, Trump has wide appeal to educated, white collar and concerned, (not angry) voters all across the spectrum. Those of us who support Trump are:

1) Deeply worried that the USA has committed many, devastating self-inflicted wounds both at home and abroad.

2) Intentionally withdrawn from the world stage as a superpower, "superpower" does not mean warmonger.

3) Intentional loss of power, prestige, influence and RESPECT around the world.

4) Tired of Obama’s America 33rd instead of Trump's America 1st.

5) Want to heal the social cohesion of the society which Obama has undone so skilfully.

6) Limit the level of where the US is taking advantage of in terms of trade, business and agreements.

7) Do not want to see a failed Hilliary Clinton continue Obama’s horrendous polices both domestic and foreign.

8) Desire a President who is a straight shooter, a man who tells it like it is and a man who will not be afraid to tell us the unpleasant truths.

We are so deep in the feces that we need a T. Roosevelt of sorts. 9) Lastly, we want a President who loves and respects his country not the current nim-nod, avowed Liberal, European-style, chic & cool, Messiah star whose hubris has no bounds.

So, it is not an ANGRY, BLUE COLLAR voter who is looking to Trump but rather a UUUGE sector of the public who are for national salvation and pride.

No, this is not Hitler in 1932 and anybody who paints Trump as such is just not listening to what the man is actually saying about our people and our nation.

Trump: CHANGE that is genuine!

Like Reagan before him, Trump is the great communicator of his time

He has nothing like Reagan's eloquence and charisma as a communicator. But what Trump does have is the ability to cut through the baloney and the stifling political correctness and speak plainly about the issues which concern millions of us.

Democrats have been throwing hay-makers at conservatives for decades now while the GOP elite which is supposed to represent us responds by scolding conservatives for objecting to the constant pummeling and telling us we deserve it. Trump hits back, and hard. He knows how to play the media, which is the tool of the Democrats. That's why I will vote for him in November.
